DIY Herbal Mists to level up your Glamor Magic

Homemade, budget-friendly, and full of witchcraft. This herbal spritz will bring magic to your beauty routine.

Glamor magic is one of my specialties. It can help amplify the energy you want to project into the world.

Maybe you want to exude confidence to land a new job. Or perhaps you need a bit of help to show your inner beauty. For that, glamor magic has your back. And while makeup is one of the most common tools for this practice, skincare products are also amazing.

So how about we make a little potion to add to your beauty routine

What you need

Distilled water.

You can also use drinking water.

Atomizer bottle.

Make sure it’s sterilized and made of glass.

Herbs.

Flowers are some of my favorite plants for glamor magic. Here are some options you can use for this mist:

  • Chamomile: Water energy. For soothing and managing emotions.

  • Rose: Fire energy. For romance, beauty, and gratefulness.

  • Green tea: Earth energy. For grounding and energizing.

  • Lavender: Air energy. For cleansing, meditating, and a clear mind.

Oils.

I recommend using hydrating oils instead of essential oils. Here are some you can use for this mist:

  • Jojoba oil (hydrating). Earth energy. For growth and balance.

  • Almond oil (hydrating). Earth energy. For nurturing and beauty.

  • Coconut oil (hydrating). Earth energy. For cleansing and healing.

  • Vitamin E oil (hydrating). Earth energy. For repairing and protection.

Mist Making

This potion-making is similar to brewing tea. Bring 1 or 2 cups of water to a boil (you can use an electric kettle to speed up the process!)

Take the water off the heat and steep the herbs you chose for around 7 minutes

Remove the herbs with a mesh strainer, cheesecloth, or coffee filter.

Add up to a tablespoon of hydrating oil, mix, and let it cool.

Pour the potion into the atomizer bottle.

Storing & Safety

This recipe has no preservatives, so you must be aware of decaying. Sterilize your container and work with clean hands and tools. Opt for a tinted bottle, and keep your mist in the refrigerator. Use it within 10 days of making it, and don’t leave it outside.

Make sure you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients. Stick to hydrating oils and avoid using essential oils since many of them can irritate the skin. If you want the properties and magic of a particular herb, use the plant instead.

Spritz Glamor Magic

This potion is for glamor magic. It works great for spells related to beauty, self-confidence, love, job interviews, and public speaking. And you can use it as a toner in your skincare routine.

Infuse extra magic in this mist by painting a sigil on the bottle. You make one using symbols like Venus, Virgo, and Fire. Crystals are a great addition as well. Try tying one around the bottle using a chain, flexible craft wire, or a piece of string. For this mist, I recommend citrine, rose quartz, or amethyst. And although it may sound like a good idea, don’t put the crystals in the liquid!

To activate the magic of this mist, spritz your face three times as you recite an affirmation. You can also use it while listening to a song you associate with the energy you want to project.

But most importantly, don’t be afraid to radiate your inner beauty! That is essential in glamor magic.

Stay sparkly,

-Leona, the beauty witch💋
